CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU, INDIA — K.S. Terminals Inc. (KST), a globally recognized manufacturer of electrical terminals, connectors, and interconnect solutions headquartered in Changhua, Taiwan, today announced the establishment of its newest manufacturing facility in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, India. This milestone marks the company's official entry into one of the world's fastest-growing manufacturing economies and reaffirms KST's commitment to bringing world-class electrical connectivity solutions closer to its customers across South Asia.

The new facility, spanning 36,664 square feet, is located at D. NO-571, Ulunthai Village, Kadambathur Union, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu – 602105 It is designed to support KST's expanding product lines, which include automotive connectors, EV charging connectors, battery modular connectors (BMC), cord end terminals, and a comprehensive range of insulated and non-insulated terminals — all engineered to meet the demanding standards of global OEMs and industrial buyers.

A Legacy Built on Innovation and Integrity

Founded in 1973 as Ken Shing Industrial Shop by three brothers of the Cheng family with NT$3,000 and an 18 m² workshop, KST has grown over five decades into a publicly listed, globally operating manufacturer. The company formalized its name to K.S. Terminals Inc. in 1978 and went public on the Taiwan Stock Market in 2002. Today, under the continued leadership of the founding Cheng family, KST embodies a culture rooted in honesty, unity, quality, research, and hard work.

KST's Chennai facility will manufacture and support the distribution of a broad portfolio of electrical connectivity products, including non-insulated and insulated copper terminals, quick disconnectors, DIN terminals, cord end terminals, waterproof heat-shrinkable terminals, crimping tools, butt splices, AC/DC fast charging and e-scooter charging connectors, single and double pole battery modular connectors (BMC), and automotive connectors.
