TOURISM MALAYSIA CHENNAI PROMOTES CYCLING TOURISM THROUGH FLY & RIDE VOL. 2
Chennai, 22, August 2026 — Tourism Malaysia Chennai, in collaboration with Dayasakti Travel & Tours and TRANSVEL International, organised the Fly & Ride Vol. 2 Jersey Launch and Cycling Event on 16 August 2026, following the official launch of the package during the Tourism Malaysia Sales Mission in Chennai.
The programme was attended by Mr. Hishamuddin Mustafa, Director, Tourism Malaysia Chennai, and Dato S. Chandran Suppiah, Director, Dayasakti Travel & Tours, along with Vishnu CS, CEO & Event Director, TRANSVEL International. Mr. K. Saravana Kumar, Consul General of Malaysia in Chennai, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while the General Manager of MGM Resorts conducted the flag-off ceremony.
More than 50 cyclists, including members of the Consulate General of Malaysia team, participated in the 28-km cycling activity. The event also featured the official unveiling of the Fly & Ride Vol. 2 cycling jersey, generating strong visibility for Malaysia as a destination for cycling and active tourism.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Hishamuddin Mustafa, Director, Tourism Malaysia Chennai, said, “Fly & Ride Vol. 2 is designed to offer Indian cyclists a distinctive way to discover Malaysia through an exciting combination of cycling, adventure and destination experiences. With a 400+ km route connecting several destinations, the package showcases the diversity of Malaysia and strengthens our efforts to promote active tourism in the Indian market.”
Dato S. Chandran Suppiah, Director, Dayasakti Travel & Tours, said, “Fly & Ride Vol. 2 brings together the passion for cycling and the joy of discovering new destinations. We are pleased to partner with Tourism Malaysia in promoting this experience and encouraging more Indian travellers to explore Malaysia by bicycle.”

The Fly & Ride Vol. 2 package, scheduled from 6–13 September 2026, features a 400+ km cycling route covering:
Johor Bahru → Batu Pahat → Alor Gajah (Melaka) → Temiang (Negeri Sembilan) → Port Dickson → Putrajaya → Kuala Lumpur
The jersey launch and cycling event further strengthened engagement with the local cycling fraternity and promoted Malaysia’s diverse cycling routes, destinations and experiential tourism offerings under the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign.
