Friendship on Trial – A Tale of Two Friends
Join us for an exclusive reading of A Tale of Two Friends, Dr. V. Srinivas’ latest legal thriller, where friendship, justice and political intrigue converge in a tale of loyalty and truth.
The story revolves around two main characters: A Republican doctor and a Democratic Lawyer who are childhood friends from India but living in New York City at present. Their paths criss cross when the doctor is tortured after being illegally arrested and he reaches out to his lawyer friend to defend him. The court battles and the present political drama that is playing out in USA is interwoven into the story which ends with a dramatic, unforeseen twist.
The session will feature a reading by the author, Dr. V. Srinivas, (Uro- Oncologist and robotic surgeon) and will be moderated by Dr. K. V. Krishnan, a retired cardiothoracic surgeon and cofounder of A Second Opinion telemedicine service.

Dr. V. Srinivas is a Consultant Uro-Oncologist (urological cancer) and Robotic surgeon at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. He divides his time between Mumbai and Nilgiris Tamil Nadu, where he and his family run a homestay called Ravens Nest. This is his third novel and his transition to fiction…..
