Mumbai, 15th May,2024 : In today's rapidly changing landscape of India, a significant shift is observed in how people interact with their homes, as revealed by the 'HomeScapes' study conducted by Godrej Interio. This research sheds light on how individuals express their personalities and values through home decor choices, emphasizing the deep connection between homes and personal growth. 46% of the respondents visualize their home to be a social space to engage with colleagues, family and friends (Boomers – 41%, Gen Z – 42%, millennials - 43%).

Gen X, influenced by rapid technological changes and economic shifts, is known for their dedication to professional success, often working long hours. The ‘HomeScapes’ study reveals that more than two in every three Gen X respondents (69%) take pride in discussing their career achievements when entertaining guests, emphasizing the significance of professional accomplishments in their self-image and social interactions. Additionally, Gen X is more inclined than other generations to engage with colleagues in their homes.

Moreover, the research indicates that respondents perceive their study area as more than merely functional. For instance, 62% of Gen X individuals express a deep emotional connection with their study table and chair (compared to only 53% of Gen Z). This emotional bond implies a commitment to and investment in the activities carried out in that space, often associated with work and productivity. Furthermore, more than half of this cohort (56%) believe their growth, aspirations, and productivity are all associated with their study space, study room, study table or chair. This connection signifies that they perceive their work environment as a crucial factor in their professional development and overall success.

சென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த 40 வயதான, திருமதி. அமலா (வேண்டுகோளுக்கிணங்க பெயர் மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது) என்ற பெண்மணி கருப்பையக சுவரில் வெளிப்புற இணைப்புத்திசு சாற்றுப்புற்று என்று அழைக்கப்படும் ஒரு அரிதான புற்றுக்கட்டி உருவானதையடுத்து, அதற்கான சிகிச்சையை இங்கு பெறுவதற்காக வந்தார்.  இவருக்கும் அதேபோல விரிவான சைட்டோ ரிடக்டிவ் அறுவைசிகிச்சை ரோபோ சாதனத்தின் உதவியுடன் செய்யப்பட்டது.  புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பல்வேறு திசுக்களும், உறுப்புகளும் இச்சிகிச்சை நிகழ்வில் அகற்றப்பட்டன.  சிக்கலான புற்றுநோய் நிகழ்வுகளுக்கு சிகிச்சையளிப்பதில் ரோபோட்டிக் அறுவைசிகிச்சையும், பன்முகத்திறனையும் மற்றும் செயற்பரப்பு அளவையும் இந்த சிகிச்சைகள் நேர்த்தியாக நிரூபித்திருக்கின்றன.

First time in India, patient with dual cancer diagnosis, undergoes Robotic CRS with HIPEC 

Chennai, May 16, 2024: Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC), South Asia’s first and largest proton therapy announces the launch of the Robotic Surgery Programme for Ovarian Cancers and the successful completion of India’s First Robotic Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) with Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in two unique cases of advanced ovarian cancers. These medical milestones mark a significant advancement in the regional cancer treatment landscape, offering new hope and improved care standards for patients battling this severe illness.

48-year-old Ms. Thara,(name changed on request) from Guwahati, was suffering from carcinoma of the ovary with omental and peritoneal metastases. After receiving three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, which significantly reduced her cancer burden, she underwent a complex robotic-assisted interval cytoreductive surgery. The procedure included extensive surgical clearance, followed by HIPEC using a closed technique, which ensures precise temperature control and optimal drug distribution. She was also detected with breast cancer during her work up, she could undergo surgery for breast cancer in the same sitting. The use of robotic system enabled both the surgeries to be done with minimal morbidity and the patient was  discharged in three days. 

Ms. Amala, (name changed on request) a 40-year-old lady from Chennai, was battling against recurrence of a rare tumor called -extrauterine endometrial stromal sarcoma. She underwent a similar extensive robotic cytoreductive surgery, which included the removal of multiple cancer-affected tissues and organs, demonstrating the versatility and reach of robotic surgery in treating complex cancer recurrences.

Compared to open CRS, robotic-assisted interval cytoreductive surgery reduce the hospital stay from over 10 days to just three days, minimized blood loss, and decreased post-operative pain. The robotic system facilitates the clinicians to access multiple deep areas of the abdomen effectively and clear the disease from there. Patients benefit from a faster return of bowel function and quicker resumption of normal activities, including timely continuation of adjuvant therapies. This, minimally invasive technology, not only enhances patient comfort and recovery but also aligns with the best outcomes.

HCL National Doubles Championship: After witnessing recent success in the doubles category, HCL is reviving this category after 17 years to support the Indian players It is the first event planned as a part of Squash Podium Program and is being held from 13-15 May at Indian Squash Academy, Chennai. The championship is bringing together a pair of top- seeded players including Abhay Singh with Velvan Senthilkumar, Pooja Arthi with Rathika S competing in the male and female category respectively. The exciting pairing of Abhay Singh with Joshna Chinappa and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu with Rathika S. will be seen in the Mixed Doubles category The winners will be representing India at the Asian Squash Doubles Championship scheduled from July 4-7 in Johor, Malaysia

HCL Squash Tour & Junior National Events: Six international PSA Challenger tournaments will be organised in new cities including Indore, Kolkata, Goa, etc. These squash tournaments will give both junior and senior players exposure to an international squash tournament and enhance their world ranking. The first PSA tournament is lined up from May 22-27 in Indore at the heritage campus of the famous Daly College

NexGen Squash HCL will support the identified potential junior players by providing them access to good coaches, international exposure, and technical and scientific training. The strategic Brain Training Program (a 6-month-long neurofeedback training to improve players cognitive skills) will focus on assessing their strengths and weaknesses to ultimately drive improvement in their performance. A trained sports psychologist will be closely working with the players. By undergoing this training with consistency and hard work, a player can expect improved memory, focus, body control, balance, and enhanced cognitive agility which will further help in upping their game

Grassroots Squash. Through this initiative, HCL aims to introduce squash to children from a young age to increase the number of players between the ages of 6 to 12 years. Under the pilot program being launched this year, HCL will be tying up with schools across the country. starting with Noida and Chennai

High-Performance Camp for Asian & World Junior Championships: Selection Trials will be organised for Asian/World Junior in U13, U15, U17 & U19 categories leading to the selection of the top 16 players who will undergo a high-performance camp for 1 week in Chennai with Indian coaches and British Squash Coach, Chris Ryder

Referee Development Program. This includes a referee mentorship program in which mentors will accompany and assess referees during squash tournaments. This will also be followed by their training, certification, and international exposure

Coach Development Program: A four-week long coach-development clinic will be conducted in four different cities. The coaches will get the opportunity to train and learn from an international tutor along with a top Indian coach. These coaches will also be a part of the HCL's grassroots program and will get hands-on experience in training the budding players Apart from this, through strategic information dissemination and fan engagement initiatives, the new HCL Squash Podium Program will elevate the profile of squash in India

The vehicle chassis and powertrain are registered in the customer's name, allowing for loans with hypothecation on the chassis and powertrain through NBFCs.

Subscription Tenure and Benefits

The battery lease term is 120,000 kilometres or 8 years for cargo vehicles and 150,000 kilometres or 8 years for passenger vehicles.

After reaching the designated mileage, the monthly rent reduces to INR 0.

The subscription includes battery replacements at the same rental amount after the initial lease term.
